So for background: I’ve never had a false positive before. I’ve had two miscarriages and two live births, and I recently had my IUD removed (back in June of this year). I have not taken birth control since as we are trying but not putting pressure on trying. My period was late by a few days and I had felt off so I took a test, and got a faint positive. I went to the OB to get bloodwork done and it came back negative. My OB says that certain kinds of cysts can cause false positive pregnancy tests. I go for an ultrasound tomorrow to look and see if my cysts are in fact causing me problems since having the iud removed. Has anyone experienced this before and what was the outcome? My period is now two weeks late and I just wish it would start 😅
