When did you tell people

We just found out were pregnant with my second my husbands 3rd kid. My app says I’m due in June which puts me at 5w1d pregnant I have already told people. In my head I don’t get why not telling people before 12 weeks is pushed so hard if something happens I would want the people in my life to know so they could support me. 
But at the same time I feel silly. When did everyone else tell people?

With my first and second I told people pretty much immediately. With my third I waited until I was 6 months pregnant. Now with my fourth I would love to go the entire pregnancy without anyone knowing but I have told my best friend.

I think it’s all personal preference, and whatever you choose is fine. I get asked often if I plan on having more kids, I’m 18 weeks with my 8th, and I just say we’ll see if it happens 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m tired of the questions and comments, most are rude anyway. If I had it my way, I’d show up to places when the baby gets here and that’s when I’ll tell. As soon as my kids find out, they will tell the world and that’s all the telling I plan on.

We told most people as soon as we found out at like 4 weeks but did wait until 12 weeks to tell my partners 3 kids. I have had 3 chemicals so didn’t want to upset the kids if it wasn’t going to stick.

I don't understand waiting either. We waited with our second, which ended up being an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. We didn't tell anyone what happened. Then I accidentally found out my friend was pregnant(she left the ultrasound on the fridge but figured people would think it was from her first. I was bored getting water and read the dates) and started crying in the middle of a party. So then we had to explain. 
So far with this one we've told close friends but not our parents yet. I want to have the ultrasound before I tell them. Our parents don't know about the baby we lost, either. For me my friends are more of a comfort. We haven't told our other kids yet, either. They've been praying for months for a little sister so I want to wait a bit to tell them.

I’m 13+5 now. I told my parents, partners parents and best friend when I found out at 5weeks. I told my siblings at 10ish weeks and will probably make a social post in the next week or so
