I feel so bad typing this but my bf is boring! It’s exhausting having to pick up his phone calls. At this point idk if it’s something I should do to spice this relationship. Our sex is great!!!!

I just hate talking to him on the phone and hanging out with him now:/ don’t know what happened to me as I was head over heels. Also afraid to leave then regret this because “grass isn’t always greener on the other side”

So my bf is a huge phone person….he loves calling. Sometimes he will call me after work and call me again when we he’s done having dinner. But honestly I have me schedule…it’s about an hour commute from work …will talk to him during my drive. Then I get home have dinner and I want to hit the gym asap! He wants to call when I’m at the gym but I can’t. He gets butthurt. Any time we speak on the phone it’s always about him…his job, his client, the bad day he had, the bills…we never have fun convos. It’s literally him just venting and venting about his job. I already told him it’s exhausting and Boring and he was butthurt. I apologized because I came off strong but he said “I won’t be bother anymore”

When we hang out, it’s the same thing. He will talk about a certain client being pushy or rude…he will talk about the issues at him with his brother or simply just him stressed. Is this what a long term relationship is?? Not always a colorful rainbow??
