My husband is supposed to be a groomsman to his sort of friends (more like acquaintances) wedding and I don’t want to go, would I be TA if I didn’t?

This friend & him haven’t been close since high school and the last time we hung out with him & his soon to be wife, was 3.5 years ago when I was pregnant with our oldest. They spring this on my husband the past month and then when they asked him if he was bringing his wife (me) and he said possibly they then decided to tell him it was kid free wedding. I totally understand but I am breastfeeding our 4 month old and think it would be hard to leave him from 7:30 am to 5 in the afternoon with our in laws. (They want my husband to be there (it’s a 2 hour drive from where we live) by 9:30 am and then the wedding isn’t even until 2ish in the afternoon. Then the 2 hour drive back.

Then on top of that nothing fits and I have no clue what I would even wear which is the least of my worries. It just seems like a lot of work for someone that’s never checked on us or made an effort to actually be a friend and do friend things.
