Ttc and frustrated.

Hubby and i have been ttc for over a year now... my doctor has ran everytest on me and found no issues. However when hubby asks his doctor to check him, she refuses and says that he shouldn't worry as at his age (36) she doubts he has issues. However I am good and have 2 children from a previous marriage. ShouldIjust accept this and that we wont have a child together or shouldI push to see if he can find a doctor that will check him? There are no fertility clinics within 500 miles of us.
