The saga of my due date 😅
Months ago, my first sono showed baby measuring 6 days behind so the midwife at my Ob’s office told me my due date was actually Feb 5, not Jan 30. I updated my apps, joined a Feb due date group, made all my plans as if I was not having a baby until Feb. not long after that the midwife left the practice (I wasn’t a fan of hers anyways so I was fine with that).
Fast forward to today, turns out she never should have told me to change the date! I had to get a sono because they couldn’t get baby to sit still long enough to get the heart rate with the Doppler and while there the ultrasound tech told me I’m 24w6d and I said, no they changed it early on and I’m only 24 weeks today. She said they don’t usually change it from LMP unless it’s more than a week difference and that my chart does say I’m 24w6d!
I’m so annoyed. I feel like I just lost a whole week of prep time. I woke up today thinking I just hit 24 weeks but in reality, tomorrow I’ll be 25.
But now I’m back to having a Jan ‘25 baby so I’ll be jumping back into this group I guess 😂
