Hi,

I am casually dating & sometimes am intimate with a man since May. He’s a cool guy, however, his lack of chase bothers me bc when I see him- I am always going to his hometown. We typically would see each other about every 1-2 weeks, however, this time around, I haven’t seen him in about a month.

We have made plans to see each other in the last two weeks- but each time he cancelled stating he was overwhelmed with work, wasn’t feeling good and wanted to be in isolation.

I then questioned him by asking what are we doing and if we still aligned from our discussion on the first date. He stated, “we’re dating with the goal of a relationship, still getting to know each other, etc.”

So it seems like we’re still on the same page, but when he cancelled the second time with the same narrative, I just feel like he’s not being considerate of my time and is starting to make a habit of saying yes, we will see each other, the. He cancels.

After the most recent cancellation, I called him and explained to him that it bothered me that he keeps cancelling and if he is interested in me. He stated, yes that he’s still interested in me and still wants to see me…

Idk… I do want to continue to date/ see him, but I just feel like he’s doing the bare minimum and idk if I want to give him an ultimatum? Or just end dating him?

I’m confused…
