TW: I mention early miscarriage

Hey! So this is a bit long, bare with me! 🙏

I had my period 9th to 15th September, had a faint positive test on Sunday 6th October and thought it was finally happening! Then started having period-like bleeding for 5 days (bright red and clotty). I called EPU at my local hospital and they said it could be an early miscarriage and to wait until bleeding stops and test again. I was sure, based on the amount of bleeding and past experiences, that I was miscarrying. However, I tested yesterday and it is still positive and more strong than before, also positive on a digital test.

My question is, has anyone bled that much and still had a healthy pregnancy?

Also, I'm due for a scan on Monday, just looking for advice.
