Low dose (150mg) asprin
I'm 14 weeks and I got to meet with my consultant yesterday. They were really lovely which was super reassuring. They put me on 150mgs of aspirin nightly due to me having high BP during my previous 2 C-sections. I wasn't medicated for my BP at all through my last 2 pregnancys but they said they would rather be safe.
I am high risk due to my BMI, having had 2 previous sections (on my 2nd they found I had a uterine window so being closely monitored for that also), I have had gestational diabetes in both my previous pregnancys and I'm 36 years old and reading up on it I have read that aspirin can be benificial for many of the things I fall in a category of. Just had to get your head around taking a medication that you have been told isn't safe in pregnancy isn't it 😂
Has anyone else had to take aspirin through their pregnancies?
From what I see it's becoming quite popular now.
