Colostrum Collection

I’m 36 weeks today and I started sporadically collecting colostrum at about 33 weeks whenever there was a let down and storing it in milk bags. I’ve only done it about 4 times about once a week, whenever I was awake to collect the colostrum. I thought I might as well because I’ve been leaking since 18 weeks. About two days ago my doula suggested that I start expressing and collecting the colostrum because my son might have a low heart rate/ low blood sugar, because of my medication.

Anyway, I’m so proud of my collection!

Over 3ml this morning and about 2 3/4ths yesterday afternoon!
