Ball/lump inside of vagina?

I felt this before a year ago and went to the gyno and they said nothing about it. It did end up going away I think, I never really felt it again. But I had sex last week and have been uncomfortable since. So I felt inside there, and right in my vaginal opening I felt a hard ball, kinda squishy I guess. But large, on the top of my vaginal wall/inside it. It doesn’t hurt to touch? The pain I’ve been feeling is a soreness, after sex lately I get super sore and swollen. I’m 3 months pp. I did schedule an apt but can’t get me in until until November 12th so I’m just panicked now

To reply to comment, yes I have felt my cervix before but it was always much further back, so I don’t know how it would be so forward if it was but I have no clue
