He is here! 7 weeks early, born 9/30!

I went in for a non stress test on 9/28, at 7:00am… I ended up not leaving the hospital for a week, my BP was 188/122, that is seizure and stroke level. I was only 34 weeks! I felt completely fine and normal, that is the scariest part! If I didn’t have that NST scheduled I would never have known! No preeclampsia. I was given 2 shots to mature my son’s lungs just incase, and they tried inducing me, 2 days and only 2cm dilated. I was given emergency BP meds which would bring my pressure down slightly for literally 5-10 minutes and then skyrocket again, since my BP was uncontrollable, I had to have an emergency c-section, my back is crumbling and they couldn’t even give me an epidural due to how badly my back is deteriorating, so I was put under completely and 15 minutes later Quinn Ryder was born. He spent 2 weeks in the NICU, had already begun gaining weight and at his 2 checkup 2 days after leaving the nicu, had gained 4oz and had grown 2 full inches since birth. <3 😌

Quinn should not exist, I was hit by a car as a pedestrian when I was 16 (I’m 32 now), and the doctors told my mother I would never carry a child… my mother did not disclose this information to me until I was 6 months pregnant. We had 2 early miscarriages, my husband had to get his vasectomy reversed and my brain tumor finally was under control (prolactinoma, causing loss of menses, weight gain, and lactation), and we finally, after 2 years of trying, conceived our Rainbow Baby.u
