If it helps, bleeding isn’t “normal” but it is very common especially through pregnancy. Your cervix has increased blood flow and sensitivity making it prone to bleeding. I personally am on my second pregnancy (40 weeks and 4 days today) and I have spotted through both pregnancies. In my personal situation, this pregnancy started as twins and we lost one early on which lead to bleeding but with my first pregnancy I had a chorionic hematoma and that caused bleeding. I hope in your case it is just some sensitivity in your cervix and I also hope that my experience helps as well! Just nice to hear from others who have experienced it as well!Congratulations!! Sending all the good vibes!
Hopeful and scared
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone bleeds at 5weeks, spotting as my OB-GYN would call it. How long does it normally lasts? I'm scared because I've been bleeding since 4 Nov, little bits- at first it was.just pinkish, then brownish, and then bright red but doctor said it's normal.and my cervix was closed but have to be careful and was given.medicine to help.make. sure that baby stays. Idk I'm hopeful but a bit scared and has been emotional.
