Hi all, I’ve been TTC for 2.5 years. In June 2024 I had 50mg of clomid and I overstimulated on it, so I wasn’t allowed to try that month. The next month we went on holiday so I wasn’t in the country to be monitored on clomid, so I had a break in July 2024. In Aug 2024 I had 25mg. I was monitored and it was working great, and my progesterone test showed I ovulated! That month I had my first ever positive pregnancy test!!! I couldn’t believe it! A week later I started bleeding and a blood test confirmed I had a miscarriage. Absolutely heartbroken. The next cycle we had a break from clomid and TTC. The next cycle after the break, I took clomid again (I wasn’t monitored) but it just didn’t feel the same as it did in Aug, it felt like my body wasn’t responding to it anymore. Anyway I started my period that month so no pregnancy. So I tried again this cycle and this time I asked to be monitored again. I told the nurse I felt like I wasn’t responding as well to it, she did say there were less and smaller follicles this time compared to August but wasn’t worried, I had a progesterone test which confirmed ovulation. Today i started my period, so no pregnancy this month either. I wanted to up my dosage to 50mg but they keep saying it is working as I am ovulating but I feel it’s not responding the same as it was in August. Has anyone experienced this? Or felt clomid just isn’t as effective after miscarriage? Has anyone upped the dosage after a miscarriage?
