Has anyone experienced this that has insight? I have reached out to my OB, they treat it like an allergic reaction and tell me to take Benadryl. But there is no reason or product I am using that could be causing it. I’m 18 weeks with #4 and about once per month I feel a rush of heat run up my body and then I get very itchy red and splotchy. It lasts about an hour. Primarily on my face, chest and elbows— they get red splotchy itchy and swell. What could be the cause? Is it pregnancy related? I am going to bring this up in person with my OB next appt and show him the pics.
