Please help me pick a Christmas outfit!

Some of you may have seen my post a few weeks ago asking for advice for my Thanksgiving outfit. Well, now I need help picking my Christmas outfits! I'm sorry, if this is annoying, but I don't have girl friends to ask, so I have to turn to you all! I know it's early and we haven't even had Thanksgiving, but I have to order the clothes, make sure they fit, and have time to do exchanges if needed, so I need to start planning now. I have 3 Christmas events to go to this year (2 of which are with the same side of the family), so I'll probably be asking for your advice on 2 different outfits. I've lost 30-40lbs this year so far (and counting!) so I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone with clothes and really working on building a whole new wardrobe.

I'm so set on this sweater (probably won't wear it so off the shoulder though, and maybe with a tank top), but need a skirt to go with it! I'll be wearing pantyhose and probably black ankle boots with it. This is the first skirt I've picked out and I need your input on which color. If you think a different skirt style would be better for this sweater, let me know. I'm open to suggestions! I do want it to be short though. I'm doing a long skirt for Thanksgiving.
