Any tips?
If you did anything to jump start labor OR keep labor going, what was it? I am 39 weeks as of today for reference. This past sunday, i had contractions for 7 hours averaging about 5 minutes apart, and then they stopped. I didnt go to the hospital simply because i could talk through each one of the contractions and never had to stop and focus on breathing through them. They were pretty light to be honest. Yesterday, i woke up having contractions averaging roughly 8-10 minutes apart (i missed timing some of them) all the way until about 4pm, and once again, they never got stronger throughout the day and they stopped. I did have some random contractions throughout the evening. I took off work yesterday thinking labor was starting, plus i am not going to labor at work LOL. I DO have my normal 39 week appointment today, so i plan on asking my midwife what she recommends. I am just over having contractions for hours on end for them to stop. Did anything work for anyone else to encourage contractions to get stronger and keep going? Its probably a silly question, because yes i do know when my body is ready, labor will actually start. Its just discouraging having contractions all day for it to stop and not turn into anything.
