Update: labor & 4 weeks postpartum app

I was on bedrest since 29 weeks on 9/3/24 and had my baby at exactly 37 weeks.

My labor was 2 hrs long. I went to the ER almost at 10pm and had my rainbow 🌈 miracle baby boy at 12:01am Saturday 10/26/24. He was 6.9 lbs and 19.5 inches long. I had natural birth and no epidural in time. When I arrived at ER I was already almost at 6-7cm and anesthesia dr came in for 15-20 mins but couldn’t get the epidural in me on time. Right when he told me to sit up straight I tried while I was in so much pain then I felt his head so it was too late. I was in so much pain with contractions for 2-3 hours long. I’m thankful we had a successful 2 hrs healthy labor. I had 2nd degree tear.

My wound is still a bit painful and it’s still not fully healed yet but she said I can use antibiotics if it doesn’t heal in 3 weeks

I need to use the sitz bath more for 4 more weeks

I have another follow up in a month for my wound.

My dr extended another 2 weeks off work so I can’t go back to work until after 12/21/24.

I thought I was healing fine but then when she did the exam on me and applied pressure down there I wanted to cry again. There was so much complications this 2nd pregnancy but I am so blessed for another cute precious baby boy 🥰 God is good!!
