Basically a few months ago, one of the pts at my gym started saying hi to me as I saw him around. Then I went to one of his classes. During the class, he told me to wait around for him after the class. I did

He told me I was beautiful and that he would like to go out for a drink. We exchanged Instagram. During the class he was touching my lower back and my hand as I was on the bike. He appeared very attracted to me

We went for the drink. But he didn’t seem to care much about what I had to say and kept trying to kiss me, eager for me to finish my drink so we could resume kissing in the car. He was very handsy, hands all over me, touching my breasts. I told him I wasn’t ready to sleep with him

He kinda pulls back and I see him round the gym but he’s less warm. I go to one of his classes and immediately after, he phones me and says he’s parked outside my house. He tells me to come down so I do, and he starts kissing me in the car again

Fast forward a few weeks, we go on another date, he comes round to my house stupidly and we sleep together. He leaves immediately and never texts me again.

I’m seeing him round the gym and feeling very uncomfortable and embarrassed about it all. Was this unprofessional of him?

A few other things I noticed was that he didn’t want to give me his number as he said WhatsApp is where he chats with clients so we talk on Instagram. He kept dates quite short and always had to leave early to get home to his dog. He tells me I could never stay at his house as it would be awkward with his brother

But also he told me he has been single since 2021, but there is an Instagram post joint with another girl in December 2023. And it’s titled couple goals. Her mom, sister, dad, still engage with and like his fitness posts and on her sisters instagram, there is a family holiday photo a few months ago and he is there. He is a different race so he is not a sibling.

Which makes me feel like maybe he had a girlfriend. And I feel sad for multiple reasons now. 1) I thought some one liked me and I was excited. 2) I feel sorry for the woman. 3) I worry something about me means I’m a target for this

I’ve been continuing to go to his classes and being polite to him. He no longer seems happy to see me, he doesn’t try to talk to me.

If we do have a chat, he’s so vague and keeps the conversation short. I’ve observed how he talks to other people round the gym and he chats to them so much more maturely and properly but with me he’s being a bit short.

And I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I’m 29 and never had a serious relationship. The last guy I dated I posted about here, kept me distant taking days to reply, spacing dates apart although super affectionate on dates before telling me he didn’t feel romantic.
