Vagina burning like hell!!!

I took Monistat 1 I haven't taken monistat in literal years but decided to take that instead of going to urgent care. Well my vagina is burning like hell. I took it around 3a the burning woke me up out of my sleep at around 6 it's now 6:30 and I am still awake burning like hell in my vaginal area. What should I do? Is this normal? I did take a shower and scratched a little in the shower so maybe that's why it's burning so bad, but it's not mildly uncomfortable it's severely uncomfortable I literally can't sleep because it burns that bad.... can I wash it off??
