Rhythmic & intense contractions that stop

This is my THIRD pregnancy but has anyone experienced this?

I am 38.4 and had 12 whole hours of strong contractions along with strong cramping last night that were intense and 10min sharp apart (lasting a min each, with a peak and all) but they didn’t intensify nor get close together and then they suddenly STOPPED!!!

I’m 100% feeling normal today. Despite tired cuz I couldn’t sleep at all all night.

Has anyone experienced this and how close to labor?

My two other kids came at 39w sharp so 3 days from now.
