Is my last reply to this man on a dating app desperate?

I’m using online dating and I know how important it is to make a man chase. So usually I will never ask a man a question, he has to ask about me etc. I used to love asking questions and getting to know people but I know that is desperate

But I got a dating app match yesterday, he replied and I found it so hard to come up with a response as he didn’t give me much to work with. I tried to share something about myself but I read it back and it’s cringe. I just can’t understand talking to strangers it’s impossible
