Positive ovulation test 3 days before period?

Question

I’ve heard pregnancy can show up on ovulation tests sometimes, though my pregnancy tests haven’t picked anything up yet (I’m 10/11 DPO).
With my son I had a BFN followed by a positive within 30 seconds two days later. I’ve since had 1 chemical pregnancy and 1 miscarriage so I am hoping this could be an indicator.. Does anyone have any idea if this theory is true?

OPK’s don’t detect pregnancy itself. It’s possible they could pick up on the similar component found in HCG and LH yes, HOWEVER, we also get a secondary estrogen surge during the mid-latter part of the TWW, which can cause a temporary surge in LH, resulting in a positive OPK. It’s not reliable and a LH test can’t be used in lieu of a pregnancy test. If you’ve had negative pregnancy tests, that means you’re not pregnant or your HCG levels haven’t reached a detectable amount yet
