MINI IVF with PCOS?

Hi guys! 👋🏻 Mini-IVF with PCOS? Me (26F) and my husband (25FtM) are going to be starting IVF in January of 2025! While we are so excited to start this journey, I’m trying to do the most research to find the best plan for us! I have PCOS, and my husband has Type 1 Diabetes, meaning we will be using my eggs (not his) to prevent our child from ending up with T1D. My AMH level (egg quantity) is 5.7 (which is normal for PCOS patients). My question is this: Has anyone done Mini-IVF with PCOS as opposed to Conventional-IVF? How many eggs were retrieved? How many mature? Fertilized? Blastocysts? PGT-A normal? I’ve been reading that women with PCOS can end up with more than 10 eggs with mini-IVF, but I’d like to hear your guys’ information/feedback! I have pcos and did regular IVF and had 24 eggs in my retrieval, after 5 day blast and genetic testing I ended up with 4 eggs, 3 boys and 1 girl. I  ended up putting 1 boy egg and 1 girl egg in and both took, my twins are almost 4 months old!!

I don’t have pcos but followed mini IVF protocol. Our goal was to get around 3-6 good quality eggs. We ended up with 18 eggs retrieved, 16 mature. We fertilized 12 and froze 4 eggs. Out of this we’ve got 7 embryos, didn’t do pgta testing and I am currently 7 weeks with our first transfer.
