TW MMC need reassurance.

Has anybody ever had a mmc, im currently 6 weeks pregnant and i had a huge bleed lastnight and went upto sau. I was scanned as 5mm and no heartbeat - but i had no pains while bleeding and the baby is still in the womb and my cervix is closed (even during the bleeding) . I have read many stories where doctors have told peopoe theyre having a mmc then there pregnancy actually progressed. Has this ever happened to you? I had passed clots in the bleeding but once it was done im barely bleeding now. I was diagnosed with pcos many many years ago so wondering if a cyst has popped and ive been misdiagnosed.
