Has anyone ever had a cervical cone?

Were you able to conceive afterwards? How long did it take you?

I've had two cones done last year. Dr. said I had plenty of cervix so gave me ok to TTC. Will probably high risk due to cervical cancer diagnosis and age. Will probably need cercliage too.

I had a LEEP...everything healed ok...was able to get pregnant. ..but ended up having a c-section. ..due to the baby being face up

I haven't had a cone (yet) but my gyne discussed the procedure with me a while back... Said it wouldn't hurt my chances to conceive at all, but he did say that it would put me at greater risk for needing a c-section (due to the scar tissue) and also put me at greater risk for needing a cerclage during pregnancy. So you should be fine :)

I had my cone in 2000, did not ttc until 2011. Had no problem conceiving. Hope this helps!
