Baby vomiting solids
My daughter is almost 7 months and we’ve been doing solids (BLW) for a little over a month. She’s been doing great with just oatmeal/breastmilk combo and scrambled eggs. We’ve introduced solid banana, strawberry, cucumber, and avocado.
At first she would just suck on them but now she’s taking little bites and since that’s started she’s gagging to the point of vomiting every single time. It doesn’t matter what it is, anything that goes into her mouth now is making her puke. I know gagging is a normal reflex but the vomiting is freaking me out (and grossing me out) a little.
My first never did this but we had to start her on “solids” (oatmeal) at 4 months due to her severe reflux, so idk if her gag reflex was better by the time she started actual solids. Anything we can do to avoid this or should we just let it ride. Or does this warrant a call to the pediatrician?
