Has anybody gotten help for getting an abortion while living in a state that has a ban on it? I live 3 hours away from the closest abortion clinic to me. The only problem I’m having is that I only have Arkansas Medicaid. And please before anyone jumps down my throat, please understand that I’ve thought long and hard already. I just need help on how I can go about getting an abortion paid for through funding. I’ve called a few hotlines in Illinois. I left voicemails asking about it so I’m just waiting for a phone call back. I know that there’s funding out there. Initially I was excited but now I’ve realized I’m in a loveless relationship and I don’t want to bring a life into this world in a toxic environment. I just can’t do it. I’d rather not. I know I can do it by myself. I’ve done it before but I just don’t have it in me to do it again. I think I’m making the right decision. Please if anybody has some numbers I can call for funding and clinics I can go to.. please just help me without judging me. I’m traveling from Arkansas to Illinois.
