He thinks my guy friend is a predator

I'm 19 and currently living with my coworker who is 36. His name is Erik I left home because my mom found out I was playing D&D to cope with depression and for fun and told me I was being demonic. They forced me to drop out of college. Threatened me with a roof over my head if they didn't. They were doing this to punish me. Then started charging me $800 for rent when I make 10/hr. They also wanted full control of my job search. Erik offered me a place to stay. He always talked about his wife but everyone thought she was fake. Turns out she's real. They just don't live together because Erik stays with his mom. I was so desperate to get out of this toxic situation I moved in. Erik said I'm free to mooch off him. All he really wants is that I tag along with him out to dinner and places when his wife isn't going with him. So I've been doing the cooking and cleaning for several months. It's how I earn my keep. Well now Erik is upset because I made another guy friend at my D&D group. He's also 18. His name is Alexander and he's great. He has had a really bad upbringing so he understands my trauma and even stood up for me when my parents found at Walmart and tried to drag me into their car. Police got called and he went off on them. Erik thinks Alexander is a creep and predator. Erik went through my phone and found texts where Alexander was telling me about a certain kink he was into (It was nothing illegal or involving animals, or children). Erik got very upset and said that Alexander is a predator and he was right and started demanding I stop talking to Alexander. We got into an argument so he went out and came back wasted. He hates Alexander and wants me to not be friends with him anymore but he's become such a support system.
