Period not returning after D and c

I had two missed miscarriages in 2024 that both ended in D and C because my body would not evacuate the tissues naturally. The last one happened on Oct 4, 3024. It’s now Jan 6, 2025 and I still have not had my period back!! It’s been three months. I saw the doctor before the holidays and got prescribed 5 days of progesterone (provers maybe?) that was supposed to jump start the cycle. It’s been 10 days since I finished the treatment and still nothing. I can’t get another appointment with the doctor until mid February and it’s driving me crazy. Everywhere I look it seems like that hormone treatment gets periods back in 1-3 days… has anyone been through something similar? Did it take long? I just want my period back ☹️ (also I did test and it’s not because I’m pregnant)
