Late period and negative test ..

Is there anything I can do to get my cycle going? I had random spotting only when I wiped that was light pink. Took a test a week ago and it was negative. I had no period at all last month and no sign of it coming either. I’m usually extremely regular. I did have more spotting over the weekend but again, only on the toilet paper when I wipe and light pink. Just need my period to start at this point..
