How do I tell the guy I’m dating I’m into bdsm??

So I started dating a guy recently and he made it clear from the start that he wants us to wait to have sex because he want us both to prove that we’re in it for more than just sex. I’m totally fine with that, but how do I bring up that I’m into bdsm without it being weird? Ever since he told me he wants to wait I’m scared to even bring up the subject of sex, but I believe sex is an important part of a relationship. I just don’t want us to make a meaningful connection and then find out we’re not sexually compatible.

I would say something like… So I know you wanna wait and everything and I'm totally ok with that, but I'm just curious what kind of things you are into sexually. ￼ if he says he's pretty vanilla, then I think it would be totally fine to ask him if he is open to trying new things. He's going to ask what kind of new things do you mean and you can tell him at that point what things you like. If he's not into it, you have your answer. You may not be compatible in the long run. If he's open to it, great!￼

Bdsm gets a little rough so it depends on how rough your talking my best friend likes to be legit punched and slapped hard asf in the face during sex until ears ringing, if your into something like that you need to tell him before y’all make this great connection because that’s a dealbreaker for some men they don’t feel comfortable hurting their partner during sex and if he isn’t comfortable you can’t force him in the future and all the waiting was just wasting both y’all time
