IS MY BOSS FLIRTING WITH ME

So last Thursday my managers boss called me to his office re work, once work talk was over he asked about my Christmas and then shortly afterwards privately messaged me on teams following on part of the conversation. Each working day/hours since, he has messaged a few times having banter with me about unrelated work stuff. We only share up to around 6 messages each then he laugh reacts to my reply.

Obviously I like my him, I have also noticed that day in the office he was smiling a lot and making a lot of eye contact, his tone seems different and I don’t know what to think

Today I asked if I could finish an hour early and his response was ‘yes that’s fine…’ what do the ‘…’ mean?
