Ladies pls help could I get pregnant on patch?

It’s my first time on this patch birth control and on week 2 my husband didn’t pull out, could I be pregnant or should I be protected ? ** also asking because I’m on week 4 the “week off” and it’s Wednesday and I haven’t got my period so I’m freaking out I know the pamphlet says protected after 7 days but others have said 3 months. I started it on the first Sunday after my period. I really don’t want to be pregnant. Can I take a pregnancy test now ? Or do I wait ?
