Need a little guide with sex position, it’s like I forgot to have sex!

So my boyfriend and I are still working with each other on having sex. We have gotten better by adding little things. Last night was our first time of me doing cowgirl on him. Reverse was not going at planned and cowgirl he kept slipping out. It was terrible everything else was fine.
It was a good but bad night. He also used his vibrator which I have only used once in the past.
I did it with my last parter but it’s been so long at least 6 yrs. It’s like I forgot to have sex. Literally !

Like do I bounce or move up and down.
