Anyone else’s husband forget

Has anyone else’s husband forgotten your birthday? Even though you’ve been together for half a decade and you literally looked at things he wanted to get you for your birthday before he left for work in another state. He’s even used my birthday to pick up my medicine before… He’s been gone 3 weeks and he’ll be gone until the end of Feb. but he hasn’t even talked to me at all today or at all yesterday.. even to just talk to our kiddos.

He was off yesterday so I figured he would have at least said something then about my birthday since he had work today.. he went mountain hiking in the snow and spent quite a bit of money eating out yesterday and it’s been crickets since the day before yesterday from him. He’s like 1300 miles away from his family and nothing.

I ended up making my own birthday cake.. my mil said I should have asked her to make it (she makes EVERYONES birthday cakes every year but mine and they don’t have to bring it up). So I’m sitting here enjoying my cake and playing with my babies ☺️
