I had a medical abortion in December, i took the first tablet on the 3rd of December 2024 and then the 4 tablets the next day. I bled and passed a few clots not a lot of pain but definitely some cramping. I bled for 6 days, i then started bleeding again on the 19th of december and it was just like a normal period medium flow and it lasted until 1st of January.

I then started bleeding again the 17th of January and bled until the 22nd and it was agony i was passed large clots and filling my pad up with 2 hrs and that’s if it had chance to even soak into the pad. At times it would just flow out of me and i’d leak and at one point i’d soaked my carpet in blood. I didn’t go doctors about it as it then started to calm down but Today ( 26th/27th of january) iv noticed i’m spotting again.

Is this normal to be bleeding this heavy so long after abortion and passing such large clots, I’m physically exhausted now iv lost so much blood these past few months and feel drained.

Should i be concerned and go to a doctors? or is this normal
