Does anything help...?

Question

I go to counseling once a week, trauma group every Wednesday, doctors appointments every six weeks, and I've even been put on medication. 
I know it's only been 4 months since I was raped but nothing helps at all.

Things take time girl iwas raped from 12 y/o to 15 y/o. It's alot of damage you have to repair. Don't rush things
 Take your time. You'll get passed this, because your a fighter.

I was raped when I was 6, and again when I was 16. I'm 18 years now and I'm still not over it.. but things are better. Just keep consistency with your medication, your groups, and don't give up. Take up a sport or a club to keep your mind busy. You will make it. Trust me. Its probably one of the hardest things to go through but you can do it.

I think it's different for everyone.  My abuse started when I was six and continued for five years.  It was on a nightly basis and by my stepfather.  I had too many triggers to list.  My ex stepmother was a survivor herself and suspected that I had been abused.  I started going to therapy at eight years old.  Since the abuse was still occurring the therapy absolutely did not help at all.  When my ex stepmother noticed she tried talking to me herself and I eventually told her. She tried taking to me about it but having to tell someone every gory detail at the drop of a hat made matters worse.  I sought therapy again at 21. It was helpful until the dreadful stepmonster talked my therapist in to letting her sit in.  That was the last  meeting.  After a few more years of trying to handle it myself and going through a third therapist I finally decided to do what I thought best.  First I gave my struggle to God and stopped assuming I could fix it myself.  Then I refused to speak to my awful stepmother about my struggle anymore.  I couldn't dwell on my past with her fueling the fire anymore.  Finally I forgave my abusers and started to trust again.  I still have a hard time every now and then but not even close to how it was.  And when I have those times I just lay in my husband's arms and talk to him about it.  My method didn't work for others but it did wonders for me.  It will be a long road no matter who you are,  but it comes down to figuring out what you need and just having the courage to do it. Hope it helps and never give up.  You will overcome this.  I have faith in you.

I was 16 when I was raped. I had started therapy before the rape actually happened though. I would say for me the next year after that I started feeling somewhat better. I didn't tell anyone it happened until I was 19 though. After I told my parents and therapist everything seemed to get a little easier. I was in therapy for 5 years and was on medication for 6 years. I was already suffering from depression and anxiety before it happened, and my therapist and I figured out I was ptsd too. I still have really bad days even now. But it does get better.
