When to start walking

Hi my little one is 10 months old and is starting to use things to stand. We’re working on his balance but I believe he’s shy of attempting to take steps. When do babies actually start walking or begin to show signs of walking? I’m a first time mom and just nervous. Is there something we’re not doing right? Just anxious.

Hey, Mama. My son took a couple steps around 11 months but really started walking at 12 months. Don’t worry! Some children don’t walk until 18 months or older and it’s completely normal! (: doing what he is doing at 10 months is good, he’ll take those steps when he feels comfortable. 💙

My little boy started to she signs of wanting to walk around 12 months. He would cruise around chairs and use a walker but he didn’t actually take his first steps on his own till 14 months.
