i had my first outbreak exactly a year ago. since then i didn’t get any outbreaks until 2 months ago and now i’ve had 3 back to back.

no particular changes in my lifestyle or any stress.

i know outbreaks are supposed to die down a bit after the first year so why does it now seem to be picking up?

also as an fyi , when i started getting them again it tends to happen when i have my period. and im not using and haven’t previously used any antivirals.
