How do people even afford breast implants?

I’m 29 and a 32B. I’ve never felt good about my boobs. I’ve felt worse in the last couple years because of people telling me I look like a boy and women making fun of me, even at work. I want implants I just don’t see how women afford them? It seems to me they are close to what a used car costs. I live in the US.

Who is making fun of you for having smaller breasts? That’s immature and inappropriate. 
Please don’t listen to them. If you want your breasts done for you- go for it. 
People take out loans, finance, save, etc.

They save up if they cannot afford them. I worked in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine for many years. I've seen people save up for a decade to afford them. Big advice I will share is do not bargain shop. Fixing a botch job or an infection cost WAY more than the implants. Find a good surgeon and even if they cost a little more choose them because in the end you will save money...potentially a lot...and they will look better. If you are young remember they are not a once in a lifetime thing so know if you need to save now you may need to save again later depending on your future financial situation. And do not go into debt over boobs. Care credit exists but I would only recommend using for maybe 10-20% of the cost at most if you are that determined.  $6000-8000 is a lot and you don't want to have that debt for implants.

Most people I know financed theirs on a payment plan through the office or put it on a credit card. I second the advice to not bargain shop bc one of my friends had to have hers redone twice because they botched it so badly. Also I really suggest you look into breast implant illness so you’re going into the surgery fully informed of the risks of you still decide to proceed.

Care Credit, financing, loans, saving, shopping around etc. since most plastic surgery is self pay, there’s more competition and price negotiation is an option. Shop around and get a few opinions/options. just make sure you’re doing it for you and not because other people are making you feel like you should.

Payment plans, saving up, getting another job, finding someone to pay, loans, some women get men to pay. There used to be a website that you could post a before and after picture and men would chip in money to pay for them. That was so fucking long ago tho so I doubt it’s a thing anymore.
