Do you think diet and lifestyle contribute to healthy ovulation?
I just wanted to put this on here for my charting ladies… do you notice a difference in your cycles when you’re making sure to get enough calories/movement/supplements and try to keep stress down in your charts?
I also suffer with attention problems, and letting myself do too much and stressing myself out about things, so I’ve been trying to plan/organize better and keep things realistic. If I have more time and energy I try to get more done, and when I don’t I keep to the basics (however boring they might be).
I’ve also been sharing my mind with my husband more- I find that I can let things ruminate on.. so I’ve been trying to argue (fairly!) or share my opinions (since we have a lot that we disagree on) but that’s ok because it’s been better than keeping my thoughts to myself… airing things out of you will. Which I find has been helping with the stress-he’s very stressed out about work rn and I feel like it can be a lot for him but at the same time I try to remain grateful and positive about our situation as two different people who want the same things.
I think my body ovulates sooner when I’ve been really diligent about meal prepping and eating more protein and calories in general than when I’m kind of just eating whatever day to day.
I cut back on my coffee in the mornings and switched to tea, been drinking lots of water and trying to take supplements.
Eating more protein/iron rich meals, carbs and veg.
I usually notice I ovulate on CD 16 but this cycle has felt different and I think I’ve ovulated on CD 14 (not confirmed yet) but seeing a temp shift into higher temps today (CD15).
Thanks,
Xx
