Child abuse

Kids dad confessed he whooped our autistic son (a couple years ago) with his fist so bad he fell and began foaming at the mouth. His reasoning why is because he couldn’t get him to talk and it was frustrating him. It happened a couple years ago. I’m not sure if anything can be done about this, we had a court battle years prior and I was adamant on his getting supervised visits for a comment dad made to me about killing him because he wouldn’t stop crying… What can be done?
