Detecting pregnancy with ovulation tests

I noticed a lot of people taking ovulation tests along with a pregnancy test. As it can detect pregnancy too (hcg). I’m currently 12 dpo with negative tests. I also took ovulation tests too but they are very light. Has anyone had a faint ovulation test and still been pregnant? My previous pregnancies I’ve tested positive around 8 or 9dpo. I’m sad that I might be out this month 😕
