I feel kind of silly asking in the first place but, here goes. My boyfriend and I have been together for 12 years. (we decided not to get married but that is a story of another time.) As with every relationship the the amount of sex gradually goes down. Last year we got to a point where we only had sex twice in a 12 month period. This really upset me so we had a conversation about it and agreed to both try to be initiate more often and we aren't allowed to tell the other person no. We got so out of practice with regularly being intimate with each other that now it seems awkward. I feel awkward when I try to initiate. I don't know the best way to show him that I'm interested. I have to try to find a way to get my mojo back because I know this wasn't an issue when we were younger. It's not a lack of desire but, a lack of time and feeling out of practice.
