Baby shower for baby #2??

A couple of my friends have asked if they can throw me a baby shower. I’m just not sure how I feel. I have an almost 5 year old son, and baby #2 coming in August is also a boy. Did you have a second shower? Thoughts?

In my friend group, it’s super common to have a shower or sprinkle for all your babies. I had a friend who had 4 children (all boys) and we still helped her celebrate her last by cleaning her house and having dinner together. All babies deserve to be celebrated.

If they’re offering definitely ! You can always do a more intimate guest list, that’s what I did with my second .

I’m doing a diaper party rather than a 2nd baby shower. Traditionally women only have one baby shower, but to each their own.
