Help!! Subchorinic Hematoma in second trimester

Around 17 weeks I had a heavy bleed, bright red almost like the start of a period. I was in panic mood thinking that I could be miscarrying or having placenta issues, so I went straight to the closest hospital. By the time I had an ultrasound done and we finally were able to see a dr they informed me that there was a massive bleed behind my placenta, I was told to be prepared for it to erupt and if that does happen they cannot save my baby. I had a cervix check and they were happy no issues there but I spent the next 2 days in the hospital with bubs heart beat getting checked constantly, and blood pressure. After those two days they said the bleeding had calmed down enough for me to be sent home with no idea if my baby would survive or not. They didn’t have any answers either other than everything should be okay but if I bleed again come back.

Around 3 days later I had really bad cramps just like period cramps, kinda when your period is just ending and in the morning another bleed not so red but pink, still enough for me to worry so I went to another hospital. After an ultrasound, many blood tests and a cervix check they were able to say that I had a subchorinic hematoma which has been causing all the bleeding, they ensured me that this was common and uncommon but not usually any cause for major concern. The bleeding was from this clot they had found behind my placenta and I would mostly likely bleed or it would just disappear with time. I was sent home again but this time with a more positive outlook on it.

Unfortunately the next day I also had the same thing, cramping but no bleeding til the next morning which was dark red with a lot of clots and was asked to come back after I spoke with the midwives. Same deal no worries just a lot of monitoring and checking bubs heart beat. I was in for 24hrs, I had a external and internal ultrasounds which they were able to still see my hematoma and some bleeding in the sack. Cervix looked great not opening at all and placenta was doing its job still even with this all going on. I just wanted to mention this whole time baby has been happy and moving as if there is nothing going on. So with no major bleeds again just brown blood or old blood they were happy to send me home.

I’m still bleeding and it’s been 2 days but only old brown blood.

I wanted to put this on here to see if anyone else has experienced this and if I should be worried.
