Provera & Clomid?

Question

Has anyone taken provera to have a period and start Clomid to Ovulate? 
I only have periods once a year and this is what my doctor suggested to conciece.  Any comments?

I've taken provera for 4 months now. I have PCOS and don't have periods on my own. I took 50mg of clomid for the first three months, and just started 100mg this month. Provera always works for me. Baby dust to you all!

My doctor started me on provera about a month ago to induce my period. I am staying on just provera until dec. 19th and if nothing by then I start clomid. I can say that provera works like clock work. 3 days after a 14 day round I got my period, now its ovulation testing from here out to see if in fact I will ovulate on my own after the first cycle.. hope everything works out for you!

My dr put me on provera for 10 days to induce a period. I got it 4 days after I stopped taking it. I started clomid days 3-7.  Now im just waiting to ovulate. Im on cycle day 9 now and the wait is killing me. My dr also said she wanted to give me a trigger shot so im just waiting to hear back about that. But im the same as you I get a period once a year. I was diagnosed with PCOS. This is my first round of clomid so im hoping it works. Good luck to you!
