Blood draw?

When do they do them? For the panel? I hate needles and need to make sure I drink a ton of water to even have a vein. Help?

I had 15 tubes taken when I was about 6 weeks or so

Just had mine taken at first appointment (8 weeks) took 3 viles

They took one vial to confirm my pregnancy a couple of weeks ago and then FIVE the other day to run an HIV panel and other vitamin level tests. She only said if have to do that one more time...20 weeks I think?

They take blood at the first appointment to confirm the pregnancy & depending on how far you are probably a month later for some genetic screenings. Then further along to do the NT testing with a sonogram around 2 weeks or so. I feel like they're constantly drawing my blood.
