Almost 15 months still wakes up up at least once during the night…
So my pediatrician has me paranoid that something is wrong. Because he says there’s no reason she shouldn’t be sleeping 10-11 hours straight by herself. But most nights she’ll wake up once with us having to go into her room to soothe her.
It’s usually after 6-8 hours. Sometimes she’ll cry out for a few seconds before soothing herself really quick before. But there’s always that one waking where either my husband or I have to go into and either bounce her, rock her, or micro nurse before she’ll go back down for another 3-4.5 hours.
Bedtime routine consists of teeth brushing, (sometimes bath) pajamas, lotioning, bed time stories while drinking some water, snuggling while rocking in the dark, then down into her crib while she’s still awake and happy. She’ll play around in her crib for a bit, before falling asleep 20-45 minutes later on her own.
She has a blanket and a lovely that she definitely snuggles with. We have a white noise machine and a gentle nightlight pointed away from her crib.
